Thomas "Beno" May
1968 Started working at HAECO (Howard Holzer's Company) making recording consoles and cutting systems.
1972 Studied under Roy DuNann at A&M Studios.
1985 Became the head of "research and development" and "tech support" at A&M Studios.
1984~2004 Taught recording at the University of Southern California.
1996 Left A&M Mastering to join technical engineers at Bernie Grundman Mastering.
Akira Taguchi
1978 He founded JVC Label at Victor Entertainment, International Division and produced about 150 albums including Lee Ritenour, Dave Grusin, Ernie Watts, Eric Gale, Bill Holman, Sadao Watanabe, Terumasa Hino, Native Son, Malta, Hiroko Kokubu, Masami Nakagawa.
1993 He moved to JVC Music LA and keep producing mainly jazz and got Grammy Award twice.
1996 He founded XRCD with Shizuo Nomiyama (X-JVC Yokohama Plant).
2002 He became independent and keep producing music.
Andrew Garver
1987 Worked for Teradyne as an Applications Engineer.
1993 Mastering Engineer at A&M Studios Hollywood.
1999 Grammy Nomination for Mastering.
2001 Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California where he teaches courses on Music Technology for the Thornton School of Music.
